A couple more tidbits pertaining to the 2023-24 IU basketball schedule were revealed on Monday afternoon via reports.
College basketball reporter Rocco Miller says IU will host Wright State on Nov. 16 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Under head coach Scott Nagy, the Raiders were 18-15 this past season and ranked No. 197 nationally according to KenPom.
Indiana has faced Dayton, Ohio based Wright State twice, once in the 1993 NCAA Tournament, and again in 2010. The Hoosiers won both meetings by wide margins.
CBS’ Jon Rothstein also reported on Monday that the previously announced game against Harvard will be played in Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
It will mark the second year in a row that IU has played a non-conference game in Indianapolis following the end of the Crossroads Classic. They faced Miami (Ohio) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in November. According to Miller, the game against Harvard will be on Sunday, Nov. 26.
With addition of Wright State, 26 of Indiana’s 31 regular season opponents are now known.
