This may not fall into the breaking news category, but class of 2023 forward/center Arrinten Page announced a top four of Cincinnati, USC, Indiana and Miami on Wednesday.
It has been widely speculated the 6-foot-9 Page has been focused on those four schools for quite some time now.
In an effort to make a final push to convince him to come to Bloomington, IU head coach Mike Woodson and assistant Yasir Rosemond made a trip to Georgia to visit Page on Friday.
The possibility has existed for a while Page would join his high school and AAU teammate Isaiah Collier at the next level. That option puts Cincinnati and USC as the front-runners, and that appears to be where this recruitment is headed.
While Collier was believed to be a couple months behind Page on his decision timeline, he seems to have fast tracked his process and both players may now be announcing in the next week or two.
Page is the final main class of 2023 target Indiana is pursuing. So far the Hoosiers have two guards verbally committed in the high school senior class, point guard Gabe Cupps, and combo guard Jakai Newton.
They are involved with 2024 big man Derik Queen, however, and he is considering a reclass to 2023. Queen is visiting IU the final weekend of September.
