Two of Indiana’s top targets on the 2023 board are both eyeing summer official visits to Bloomington, they told The Daily Hoosier on Saturday at the Nike EYBL session in Louisville.
Massachusetts based forward T.J. Power and Georgia forward Arrinten Page are two of the fastest risers in the class of 2023 in the most recent rankings updates. Page made his debut at No. 59 and Power soared 65 spots in the latest from 247Sports.
Both are priority targets for Indiana in the class as they look to complement guard commits Gabe Cupps and Jakai Newton with size and shooting ability.
Power has dates identified for an Indiana visit and just needs to confirm with his family.
“I’m trying to set a visit up with Indiana,” Power said on Saturday. “”We’re looking at the first full week of June I think, like maybe the 8th through the 10th.”
(update: he’ll take the IU visit in the fall according to a report by Andrew Slater)
Power said he is headed to Virginia this week, and may follow up the Indiana stop with a visit to Notre Dame.
Page recently visited Cincinnati and Missouri and said he planned to visit Indiana “later in the summer” but didn’t indicate specific dates. August is the more likely timeframe right now, he indicated.
The Daily Hoosier will have a more complete report from Page and his coach in the coming days.
