Is Mike Woodson about to pull a spring rabbit out of his hat for a fourth straight year?
Class 0f 2024 5-star Bryson Tucker appears to be trending favorably towards the Hoosiers after an official visit this week.
Of particular note, On3 national analyst Jamie Shaw placed a prediction for Indiana on Wednesday evening.
In a Tuesday report, Shaw says “a source told me Tucker was comfortable with things in Bloomington and his projected role.”
Meanwhile over at 247Sports, Colby Giacubeno, who is well connected in Tucker’s native Washington D.C. metro area, also made a Wednesday prediction for Indiana.
ESPN’s Paul Biancardi caught up with Tucker on Thursday and added to what appears to be strong signs pointing towards Indiana. Tucker told Biancardi he’ll announce a decision in April.

Tucker will play the small forward/wing role at his college destination.
Indiana offered Tucker in 2021 but hadn’t been heavily involved in his recruitment recently. That changed when Liam McNeeley decommitted from the Hoosiers last month.
Michigan State and Kansas were thought to be leading for Tucker prior to this week, although he may have be leaning towards the G League Ignite before that outfit recently disbanded.
If Indiana were to land Tucker, he’d be their lone class of 2024 commit, and would join Jakai Newton as players on the roster with four years of eligibility remaining.
Since Woodson took over as head coach in 2021 he has successfully recruited coveted top-40 prospects Tamar Bates, Malik Reneau and Mackenzie Mgbako in the spring of each of their respective high school senior seasons.
