The Hollywood, Fla. product announced a verbal commitment to IU in April after multiple visits to Bloomington. The Hoosiers offered Daniels in mid-January, and his recruitment was led by defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Bryant Haines.
The 3-star is the No. 776 player in the 2025 class according to On3. He also claimed offers from Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Maryland, West Virginia, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Tennessee, and other programs.
With the loss of Daniels, IU has no linebacker commits in their 2025 class.
Overall, Indiana’s 2025 class is down to 10 verbal commits. The IU class was ranked 41st nationally according to On3 prior to Daniels’ decommitment.
