Indiana fans can apparently exhale.
Senior co-captain and preseason All-Big Ten forward Juwan Morgan returned to practice on Monday according to Indiana head basketball coach Archie Miller on his weekly radio show with Don Fischer.
Morgan left Saturday’s game against Michigan State in the first half with a left shoulder injury. The Missouri native injured the same shoulder as a freshman and required surgery at the end of that season.
It sounds like Morgan should be ready for Thursday night’s contest against Iowa. Miller indicated “He’s not 100 percent but hopefully by the end of the week he’s feeling better without setbacks.”
Morgan is averaging 15.9 points and 8 rebounds per contest this season.
