Denzel Moore started taking Indiana seriously when the Hoosiers beat Penn State in early October. The Nittany Lions were one of the top schools recruiting the Class of 2023 defensive end/outside linebacker from Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga., and Moore could sense that was evidence that the Hoosiers were entering a different stratosphere. “I started focusing on them when they beat Penn State,” Moore said. “That’s when I started actually thinking about it. Penn State, they were one of the top teams that were recruiting me. It was like, ‘Indiana?’ Wow.” Moore’s interest grew significantly when the Hoosiers…

His body made it extremely clear how long it had been since he was last able to push himself even to that limited extent. “Did it feel great?” Allen asked himself. “No.” But it did feel rewarding to know how far the Indiana junior linebacker already come and how much better a bad jog is from what he was feeling in November. Allen’s injury in the Michigan State game, and his father Tom’s reaction…

Eleven days had passed since Indiana was stunned by Michigan State in the Big Ten women’s basketball tournament, and the Hoosiers entered the NCAA Tournament with their highest seed in school history — a No. 4 seed in the Mercado region. They had reason to feel all sorts of emotions and she figured it would take some time for the Hoosiers to get their feet set. And she was right. “You come out in the first half of the NCAA Tournament and you’re pressing, man,” Moren…

Charlton Warren was hired as Indiana’s defensive coordinator to maintain the Hoosiers’ success on that side of the ball, not to make major changes. However, IU will be making one significant schematic change on how they operate on that side of the ball, which they hope will make them just a little bit harder to plan for. As Indiana head coach Tom Allen mentioned at the beginning of the spring, the Hoosiers have created a position called the Bull, a hybrid position that does for the defensive line what the Husky position does for the secondary. The Bull could be…

Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens was asked again Friday evening during the Celtics’ pre-game media availability about the vacant Indiana coaching position and whether he is considering taking it and said much more definitively this time that he is not.
