Whoever loses this one will likely see their NCAA Tournament bubble burst. In many ways Michigan State burst Indiana’s bubble just ten days ago when the Spartans rallied from an early deficit and left the Hoosiers dazed and confused in Bloomington.  They still haven’t recovered. Indiana redshirt senior center Joey Brunk met with the media on Monday afternoon. The 6-foot-11 Brunk discussed his back injury, rehabilitation, how he has continued to stay engaged with his teammates, and much more. Brunk did not participate in Indiana’s senior day activities associated with their final home game of the season. The Indiana women’s basketball program reached a historic milestone on Monday afternoon when it was ranked No. 10 in the latest AP top-25 poll. Today marks the first time ever that the IU women’s program has been ranked in the top 10 since the women’s college basketball poll started on Nov. 25, 1976. The Big Ten Network released its profile on Indiana’s 1981 national title team this week. The documentary includes interviews with all of the stars of the team including Isiah Thomas, Ted Kitchel, Landon Turner, Ray Tolbert, Randy Wittman and more. Despite a preseason top five ranking, Indiana finished their nonconference schedule with a 7-5 record including a loss to Texas Rio Grande Valley in late December that knocked them completely out of the national rankings. Here we go again with the B word. IU basketball has lost four of its last five games, with the losses coming by an average of more than 13 points per contest.  In the month of February, when good college basketball teams find answers, Archie Miller’s Hoosiers are once again struggling.  Miller is now just 12-17 during this critical month during his time in Bloomington, and he is 33-42 overall in Big Ten games. The Hoosiers toyed with the idea of making it a game a few times, but in the end it was a vastly superior Michigan squad that was toying with IU all along. In just his second game at IU, Al Durham made three first half 3-pointers and finished the game with 16 points to help give Archie Miller his first career win at Indiana as the Hoosiers defeated Howard. Indiana lost to Michigan by a final score of 73-57 on Saturday afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind.
