Indiana’s offense should get a boost on Saturday evening in Pasadena. 6-foot-5 wideout Donaven McCulley is expected to return from injury and be available to play when the Hoosiers face UCLA at Rose Bowl Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET. That’s according to a report by Matt Zenitz, a national reporter for 247Sports and CBS Sports. The possibility exists Indiana could get Braylon Mullins’ last visit. The Greenfield, Ind. top-25 senior set an ambitious visit schedule, with talk of stops at all of his ten finalists at one point this summer. The 6-foot-5 Mullins has already been to Connecticut and Michigan, and he’s at North Carolina this weekend. But stops at Alabama, Kansas and Purdue have already come off the board, or never got scheduled. It isn’t clear at this point whether Indiana’s entire 2024-25 Big Ten schedule will be reported first via game-by-game leaks or a full release. One thing we’ve known for a while is that while the league has expanded to 18 teams, Indiana and Purdue will continue to play twice during the regular season. On Friday, national college basketball reporter Jon Rothstein leaked the dates and locations for the 2025 matchups involving the Hoosiers and Boilermakers. Indiana assistant coach Yasir Rosemond was back in his home state of Georgia on Tuesday, and one player he watched while there was class of 2026 wing Colben Landrew. Indiana offered Landrew a scholarship that same day. Landrew is ranked in the top-100 nationally in the junior class at both On3 and 247Sports, where he’s 63rd and 83rd, respectively. A product of Alabama, Landrew transferred to Wheeler H.S. (Marietta, Ga.) this summer. Kyle Schwarber’s home run on Monday evening was a lot like the 279 that preceded it. The Philadelphia Phillies star blasted a 447-foot long ball to deep right center field that was a no doubter the instant it left his bat. But home run number 280 carried special significance in IU circles.
