The wait is almost over. Class of 2021 forward Trey Kaufman will announce his commitment on Oct. 30. The reigning Indiana Gatorade player of the year broke the news on his Instagram page. The 6-foot-8 Sellersburg, Ind. product announced his top five schools in early September, naming Indiana, Virginia, North Carolina, Purdue and Indiana State. Kaufman averaged 25.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.1 steals per contest for Silver Creek High School. Indiana is placing a heavy emphasis on the Middle Atlantic region in the class of 2022. Elkton, Virginia based wing Tyler Nickel is the latest player from the area to a receive an offer from IU. With the season opening kickoff just days away, Indiana released its depth chart on Monday. While there weren’t a lot of surprises, some questions were answered.
