It wasn’t his best night, but in a matchup of two of the state’s top teams, Tayven Jackson came through in the end. Jackson led Center Grove on a final minute scoring drive to save his team’s perfect season going into the Indiana high school playoffs. East coast sophomore and IU basketball recruiting target Taylor Bol Bowen answered a wide range of questions with host Aidan Kunst. The 6-foot-8 Bowen attends St. George’s in Rhode Island.  Indiana has been talking to him for several months. A modern four with a 7-foot wingspan, Bowen shot 40 percent from three-point range as a freshman while averaging nearly 4 blocks per contest.  He contributed 10 points and 5 rebounds for St. George’s. It will be captain by committee for the 2020-21 season. Head coach Archie Miller announced on Thursday evening that Joey Brunk, Al Durham, Jr., Rob Phinisee and Race Thompson are all team captains after a vote by their teammates.
