The football revival continued for Indianapolis based Lawrence North High School on Friday night, and class of 2021 IU bound quarterback Donaven McCulley is leading the way. In a 70-14 romp over Marion, McCulley went 18-of-22 for 339 yards and two touchdowns.  He had another 31 yards rushing with a score on the ground. McCulley completed 4 of his passes for 103 yards to junior wide receiver and IU recruiting target Omar Cooper, Jr.  Cooper has 7 catches for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns on the season. Indiana class of 2021 tight end commit Aaron Steinfeldt is off to a good start for his senior season at Bloomington North High School. The 6-foot-5 Stenfeldt is ranked No. 747 nationally by the 247Sports Composite.  He is the No. 37 tight end in the country according to that same service. Indiana is trying to leverage their new assistant coach to make a late push for one of the top guards in the class of 2021. The seemingly inevitable has arrived in Bloomington. After more than five months without competition and nothing on the near-term horizon, the IU Athletics Department announced on Friday measures intended to mitigate the impact of lost revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Center Grove High School in the south Indianapolis suburbs has delivered a pipeline of talent to Bloomington through the years, and this year’s football team certainly boasts a wealth of Division One players. Quarterback Tayven Jackson and defensive lineman Caden Curry are two Trojan prospects that Indiana is recruiting in the class of 2022.
