The highlight reels are creating a buzz. But if you are just watching 5-foot-11 to maybe 6-foot Leland Walker’s dunks, you are missing the larger story. In a July 4 AAU contest at The Factory in Indianapolis, the Team Teague point guard was standing nose-to-nose with an opponent, jawing about something. IU basketball freshman Trey Galloway went in depth on the Coast to Coast Podcast IV. The first player to commit in IU’s 2020 class, Galloway talks about his high school career and what he is looking forward to at Indiana. Galloway averaged 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.3 steals per game during his senior campaign.  After missing a few games due to a right wrist injury, the 6-foot-5 Culver Academies guard led the Eagles to a 15-game winning streak to finish the season.  Galloway set the Culver career scoring record with 1,537 points. Former IU basketball players Mo Creek and Remy Abell were two of the three leading scorers for Sideline Cancer in The Basketball Tournament $1 million championship game. But it wasn’t enough. Former Marquette star Travis Diener hit a three-pointer to give the Golden Eagles the 78 points required by the Elam Ending. If there is a 2020 college football season, Indiana will have their All-Big Ten tight end. IU head coach Tom Allen said on a video conference with the media on Tuesday that redshirt junior tight end Peyton Hendershot is “completely cleared and back with the team now fully.” Hendershot plead guilty in June to a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge.  In connection with a plea deal, three other charges were dropped.  All of the charges stemmed from a February incident in Bloomington involving an ex-girlfriend. Hendershot was sentenced to one year probation for the trespass offense, a Class A misdemeanor. He…

Former Hoosiers Remy Abell and Maurice Creek and their Sideline Cancer teammates will face Luke Fischer and The Golden Eagles in the $1 million title game at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. After announcing ten days ago that he was not going to play when the NBA resumes later this month, has Victor Oladipo had a change of heart?
