The high major offers are starting to roll in for an intriguing east coast talent in the class of 2022. 6-foot-10 forward Kyle Filipowski has been offered by UCLA, Providence and Vanderbilt in recent weeks, and he is firmly on the Indiana radar. Indiana is in a good spot with the son of a Memphis assistant and former NBA player. 6-foot-9 junior forward Mason Miller said that Indiana is in his “top three” schools that he is currently focusing on in a report by Khari Thompson of the The Commercial Appeal on Thursday. Mason Miller is the son of former Florida basketball star and NBA player Mike Miller, who is now serving as an assistant coach under Penny Hardaway at Memphis. Below are the sophomore season highlights of class of 2022 Indianapolis based point guard Tayshawn Comer. The Cathedral High School product averaged 15.4 points, 5 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game while shooting 43 percent from the field overall and 35 percent from three-point range.  Comer also converted 78 percent of his attempts from the stripe. The 6-foot Comer was the runner up for Indianapolis City player of the year as a sophomore.  He helped lead Cathedral to an 18-6 mark on the 2019-20 season.  Comer will play AAU this summer with the U16 Nike Meanstreets program. Yesterday was the debut of the Blueline Pictures documentary “Worth the Wait,” which chronicles IU Men’s Soccer’s eight-overtime win over Duke in 1982 to earn the program’s first-ever NCAA Championship. While the film is centered on that seminal event, it also details Coach Jerry Yeagley’s journey in building the program from an intramural sport to varsity status. It offers perspectives from Yeagley and many of the other influential individuals who helped build the program from the ground floor, and those who have subsequently maintained that level of excellence since Yeagley’s retirement. Former IU great Doug Crusan joined The Fan Morning Show to discuss the passing of his former NFL head coach Don Shula. At Indiana Crusan was the captain of the 1967 team that won Big Ten co-championship and played in the Rose Bowl.  Crusan was a 1967 second team All-American by one publication and played in the American Bowl and Senior Bowl All-Star games.  He was elected into the IU Hall of Fame in 1987. Crusan was a first round pick in the 1968 NFL Draft and was a starting offensive tackle for the undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins. See also: …
