Former Indiana offensive lineman Simon Stepaniak was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2020 NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon. With the selection of Stepaniak, a Hoosier has been chosen in the draft for seven straight seasons, and six former IU offensive linemen have been drafted in the last 11 years. Indiana head football coach Tom Allen said earlier this week that he takes pride in the program’s NFL Draft streak. For six straight years a former IU player had heard his name called at the annual event.  Now the run stands at seven. Guard Simon Stepaniak was chosen by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 2020 draft on Saturday afternoon. Indiana forward Damezi Anderson has put his name in the transfer portal.  He made the announcement on his Instagram account. The South Bend, Ind. product struggled to get on track during his two seasons at IU. Early during his sophomore season Anderson had the look of a player that had improved substantially.
