One of the top grad transfers on the market has included Indiana on his list of finalists. 6-foot-4 shooting guard Charles Minlend from San Francisco is down to Arizona, Arkansas, Butler, BYU, Gonzaga, Indiana and Mississippi State, according to Jake Weingarten of Stock Risers. Minlend averaged 14.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists as a junior in the WCC. He was named All-WCC second team each of the last two seasons. Indiana head coach Archie Miller and assistant Bruiser Flint reached back into their home state when IU offered class of 2021 shooting guard Jordan Longino on Wednesday. The 6-foot-4 Philadelphia area product is the No. 61 player in the junior class and the No. 12 shooting guard according to the 247Sports Composite. IU head coach Archie Miller has reached back into his old stomping grounds to make Indiana’s third scholarship offer in the class of 2022. Dayton, Ohio based center Shawn Phillips, one of the top sophomores in the country, unofficially visited Indiana for their home game against Maryland in January. Today, the 6-foot-10 Phillips received an offer from Miller and IU. New Indiana basketball commit Logan Duncomb joined Moeller High School Director of Alumni and Athletic Engagement Barrett Cohen to discuss his decision to play for IU. The junior helped lead the Cincinnati high school to a 26-1 record for the 2019-20 season before it was canceled. Moeller was the defending Ohio Division One state champion. Duncomb averaged 13.8 points and 8.5 rebounds for Moeller as a junior. He shot 70 percent from the field on the season and also made 3 of his 7 three-point attempts. After a string of frustrating injuries, Indiana head coach Tom Allen had a plan for his starting quarterback going into the offseason.
