Indiana began its push to replenish its future backcourt with a scholarship offer to class of 2022 guard Skyy Clark on Tuesday. Clark is the first guard that Indiana has extended an offer to in the class of 2022 or beyond. It was a record setting season for IU women’s basketball, and the individual awards followed for point guard Ali Patberg. Patberg, a first team All-Big Ten performer, joined Jenny Fischer of the NCAA to discuss her career. Former IU baseball great Kyle Schwarber joined “The Compound” podcast recently to discuss a number of topics including his memorable return from injury for the 2016 World Series. The Compound Podcast is hosted by Cubs’ players Ian Happ, Nico Hoerner, Dakota Mekkes and Zack Short. Truth be told, although he is just now finishing his freshman year of high school, Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn is already a big deal.  He had an impressive first season on the hardwood, and Gibbs-Lawhorn was already featured in a Gatorade commercial that included the likes of Michael Jordan and Peyton Manning. Indiana has extended a scholarship offer to a familiar face in IU Athletics circles. The Hoosier football program offered 6-foot-5 class of 2022 quarterback Tayven Jackson on Sunday. On the final day that college players could declare for the NBA Draft, forward Trayce Jackson-Davis confirmed on Sunday that he was planning to return for his sophomore season at Indiana.
