A rash of injuries finally caught up with Indiana quarterback Michael Penix. The IU football program announced today that the redshirt freshman left hander from Tampa will miss the remainder of the 2019 season after suffering a right sternoclavicular joint injury. Penix had surgery on Monday. Backup Peyton Ramsey will now permanently assume the starting job after filling in for Penix in seven games this year. Indiana sophomore running back Stevie Scott put together a strong performance on Saturday night against Northwestern as the Hoosiers moved to 7-2 with a 34-3 win. The New York native ran 26 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns and added a reception for 20 yards and another score.
