Many college basketball programs around the country utilize high profile football games as a recruiting tool. Indiana doesn’t always have that opportunity, but this weekend will be unique with No. 5 Ohio State coming to Bloomington to take on the 2-0 Hoosiers. By now you likely know the story — with three committed players in its 2020 class all fitting the shooting guard/wing description, Indiana needs to add some ball handling and size to the group. Although Indiana has just one open scholarship remaining in its 2020 class, head coach Archie Miller indicated in a recent media availability that he would consider over-signing for the right players. By every measure imaginable, statistical and beyond, Indiana (2-0) completely dismantled Eastern Illinois on Saturday afternoon in their 2019 home opener at Memorial Stadium.
