There were some ups and downs in IU redshirt freshman Michael Penix’s first career start at Indiana. But a 24-for-40 passing day for 326 yards and a touchdown to go with two interceptions was good enough to earn the Tampa, Fla., native Big Ten freshman of the week honors. Eric Gordon’s one season at Indiana has turned into more than a decade in the NBA. The Houston Rockets intend to keep his career going for several more years.
