Former IU star forward Juwan Morgan can have as long of a professional basketball career as he wants. The only question at this point is where he will play. After not being selected in the 2019 NBA Draft, Morgan signed a Summer League contract with the Utah Jazz. All of the top talent in high school basketball was in action this past week and weekend at the various shoe company AAU championship events. The action was all centered on the southeast part of the country, with the Nike EYBL Peach Jam at North Augusta, South Carolina, the Under Armour Finals in Atlanta, and the Adidas Summer Championships in Hoover, Alabama. Offensive lineman Matthew Bedford hails from Cordova, Tennessee where he attended Cordova High School.  He was rated as the No. 80 offensive tackle nationally by 247Sports in the class of 2019. It turns out that April appearance at an Indiana baseball game might have been a house hunting trip. “It’s nice being here,” Bob Knight said as he arrived at Bart Kaufman Field on the IU campus on April 6th. He meant it. Below is a compilation of spring highlights for class of 2020 forward Jaemyn Brakefield and a recent interview that he gave to BallerTV. Indiana offered the Wisconsin native a scholarship in June. Brakefield has averaged 16.3 points per game on 60.2% shooting from the field through 12 games during the spring playing for Phenom University.
