It is a revolving door of visitors this week in Bloomington for the IU basketball program, with a host of class of 2020 targets on campus. Anthony Leal and Zach Loveday are in on unofficial visits today, and Matt Cross is taking an official visit this weekend. But things got started with one of IU’s top targets in the class, Trey Galloway. As was widely expected, Indiana senior Devonte Green and juniors Justin Smith and Al Durham will all return to Bloomington to continue their college playing careers according to multiple reports. The trio had entered their names in the NBA Draft in what was generally understood to be part of a process to obtain feedback and return to school. The news comes on the heels of Romeo Langford’s announcement that he will stay in the 2019 NBA Draft and forego his remaining college eligibility. He’s too short. He doesn’t play against good competition. When it comes to most conversations about Hartford City, Ind.’s Luke Brown, there are questions. Most folks in and around Hartford City have no doubt, but beyond, the questions persist. But there is also a reason why Luke Brown is becoming a household name in Indiana. Brown averaged 35.0 points, 6.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game for his sophomore season at Blackford High School. On the individual level, rating high school football players is an inexact science, with countless players buried deep in the rankings going on to great college and pro careers. But in the aggregate, team recruiting rankings are pretty reliable, if still not scientific. Several class of 2020 and 2021 Indiana basketball targets were in action this weekend in Dallas on the Nike EYBL circuit.  Here is a recap of how they performed. HASSAN DIARRA (PSA CARDINALS) The latest IU offer recipient averaged 10.5 points over four games.  The New York native struggled from the field, shooting just 37 percent on the weekend, including 2-for-10 from long range.  Diarra added 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1 steal per game.  The point guard played an average of 26.3 minutes per contest.  PSA improved to 10-3 in EYBL play. There was never much doubt, but former Indiana University guard Romeo Langford erased any lingering questions on Sunday evening when he announced that he would stay in the 2019 NBA Draft.
