Indiana lost to Wichita State on Tuesday night in NIT quarterfinal action. The loss concludes Indiana’s season.  The Hoosiers finish the 2018-19 campaign with a 19-16 record. Indiana has found the first of multiple new walk-ons that are likely to join the men’s basketball roster for the 2019-20 season. With Zach McRoberts, Johnny Jager and Quentin Taylor all moving on after this season, the Hoosiers have open spots to bring in new valuable contributors to the program. IU players Juwan Morgan and Devonte Green joined the session after Miller. The seven game postseason winning streak has come to an end. The IU women’s basketball team lost to Oregon 91-68 on Sunday night in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.  The loss snaps a postseason run of success that extended back to last year’s WNIT Championship. Playing on Oregon’s home court, the Ducks size and dynamic offensive attack was too much on this night. Oregon shot 52% from the field on 22 assists while outrebounding IU 41-27.  Sabrina Ionescu had a triple double for Oregon with 29 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
