For the second time this week Indiana has looked to Illinois to make an offer in the class of 2021. After offering Max Christie on Tuesday, Archie Miller has now done the same with forward Bryce Hopkins. Make no mistake about it, class of 2021 Evansville point guard Khristian Lander is the top recruiting target on the IU basketball board, irrespective of the class. The 6-foot-3 Lander averaged 22 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.2 steals per game as a sophomore at F.J. Reitz High School.  He shot 37% from the three-point range and 79% from the foul line. Romeo Langford has become the 26th all-time first round draft choice from Indiana University. The New Albany, Ind. native was selected by the Boston Celtics with the No. 14 pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. Playing through his lone season at Indiana with a dislocated thumb, questions were raised about his ability as a perimeter shooter.
