An overseas trip might be in order for Hoosier fans. The band is getting back together — not in Bloomington, but this time in Wurzburg, Germany. Coming off a strong season that saw him garner multiple FIBA awards, Jordan Hulls will now be joined in Germany by former Indiana teammate Will Sheehey. Playing for s.Oliver Wurzburg, Hulls averaged 14.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this year while shooting 52.5 percent from the field, 49.0 percent from three-point range and 84.0 percent from the free-throw line. While the Hoosiers held their team camp in Bloomington over the weekend, there were major events at the national level including the NBA Top 100 Camp, USA Basketball’s U19 National Team tryouts, and much more. The 2019-20 Indiana schedule continues to come together with news today of a new non-conference game to be held in Bloomington in November. College basketball reporter Jon Rothstein indicated that Indiana will face Portland State on November 9th at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. https://twitter.com/JonRothstein/status/1140611197554831360 Portland State becomes the fifth known opponent on the non-conference slate along with Connecticut, Florida State, Notre Dame and Arkansas. While the in-state class of 2021 is loaded, Indiana head coach Archie Miller of course isn’t going to exclusively focus within the borders of the Hoosier state for incoming high school juniors. Missouri based five-star shooting guard/wing Aminu Mohammed has been on the IU radar going back to 2018 and he reportedly visited Bloomington in February. According to a source closely connected to Mohammed, a return visit this summer is being organized, possibly on July 1. The Daily Hoosier attended Saturday’s Archie Miller team camp at Assembly Hall and Cook Hall. For those that are not aware, team camps are events put on by college programs that allow several high school teams to come to campus and play against one another in front of the coaches and staff. The college coaching staff is allowed unlimited access with the players and their families during the camp. As a McDonald’s All-American, Landon Turner had over 300 letters from colleges all over the country.  The Indianapolis Tech High School product could go just about anywhere he wanted — or so he thought. Of course one of the interested schools was Indiana.
