The 2019 Big Ten Tournament is going to be critical for Indiana this year. With the Hoosiers squarely on the NCAA Tournament bubble, losing their first game next week in Chicago seems like a formula for the NIT. New Indiana football offensive coordinator Kalen DeBoer and senior wide receiver Nick Westbrook took questions from the media on Tuesday. Indiana hired DeBoer in January.  He came to Indiana from Fresno State where he held the same position. With a 15-14 overall record and 6-12 mark in Big Ten play, it would be completely reasonable if you had long ago accepted the idea that Indiana was out of the running for the NCAA Tournament. Indiana head basketball coach Archie Miller joined the legendary voice of IU Athletics Don Fischer on their weekly radio show.  The pair discussed last week’s wins over Wisconsin and Michigan State and looked ahead to this week’s games against Illinois and Rutgers. There is no better way to go out on senior day than a blowout victory over your biggest rival. That’s exactly what Indiana seniors Kym Royster and Grace Withrow got as Indiana routed Purdue 73-51 on Sunday afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The win also marked the 300th career victory for head coach Teri Moren, coming at the expense of her alma mater. For the third-straight year and the 27th time in program history, the Indiana men’s swimming and diving program won the Big Ten Championship. The Hoosiers won a third-straight league title for the first time since 1983-85. https://twitter.com/IndianaSwimDive/status/1102045132373835781 Competing at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center Natatorium in Iowa City, Iowa, IU won the team title with a total score of 1,705 points. Indiana started the season winning 12 of their first 14 games.  Then they lost 12 of 13.  Now the Hoosiers have won two straight over top 20 teams. Where this wild ride is headed next is anyone’s guess.
