The possibility exists Indiana could get Braylon Mullins’ last visit. The Greenfield, Ind. top-25 senior set an ambitious visit schedule, with talk of stops at all of his ten finalists at one point this summer. The 6-foot-5 Mullins has already been to Connecticut and Michigan, and he’s at North Carolina this weekend. But stops at Alabama, Kansas and Purdue have already come off the board, or never got scheduled. Mullins’ visit to IU comes next weekend, and whether any visits happen after that is on hold until late September, his father confirmed with TDH. That includes a previously scheduled early…

The top of our class of 2025 recruiting board hasn’t changed in a while. And the actions of the Indiana staff over the last week have only served to reinforce the Hoosiers are focused on a relatively small but still promising group at this point. Who are IU basketball’s priority targets in the class of 2025? In no particular order, Jalen Haralson, Trent Sisley, Braylon Mullins, Bryson Tiller, and Mikel Brown have been right there throughout the spring and summer. In the last couple months we added Eric Reibe. And since then there’s been little doubt those six comprise the…

Kyle Schwarber’s home run on Monday evening was a lot like the 279 that preceded it. The Philadelphia Phillies star blasted a 447-foot long ball to deep right center field that was a no doubter the instant it left his bat. But home run number 280 carried special significance in IU circles. With his Monday evening bomb, Schwarber now has more Major League Baseball home runs than any former Indiana University baseball player. He passed Ted Kluszewski, whose previous mark of 279 home runs stood for 63 years. Kluszewski hit his last MLB homer on Sept. 26, 1961. The home…
As The Daily Hoosier reported last week, class of 2025 top-40 center Eric Reibe moved up his IU official visit two weeks to Sept. 20. The 7-foot Reibe visited Kansas and UConn over the last two weekends. All of those visits were/will be full weekend official visits. Meanwhile, Jake Weingarten of Stock Risers reported on Monday IU coach Mike Woodson will visit Reibe in person this week, along with Creighton, Oregon and…
If Indiana has revenge on their minds when it comes to Nebraska, that opportunity will arrive early in the Big Ten portion of the 2024-25 season. Jon Rothstein is reporting IU’s first true road game of the season will be Dec. 13 when the Hoosiers travel to Lincoln to face the Cornhuskers. That’s Friday the 13th if you’re the superstitious type, and keeping score at home. IU does not play any true road games during the nonconference portion of their schedule. Because the game at Nebraska falls on Friday, it should mean Indiana will host their first Big Ten game…
