Senior co-captain and preseason All-Big Ten forward Juwan Morgan returned to practice on Monday according to Indiana head basketball coach Archie Miller on his weekly radio show with Don Fischer. Morgan left Saturday’s game against Michigan State in the first half with a left shoulder injury. The Missouri native injured the same shoulder as a freshman and required surgery at the end of that season. It sounds like Morgan should be ready for Thursday night’s contest against Iowa. To say the least, this 2018-19 Indiana basketball season has been bizarre. Nothing illustrates that better than a seven game losing streak immediately on the heels of a seven game winning streak. Beyond that, the number of injuries suffered by this team is almost beyond comprehension. But nothing was more bizarre or incomprehensible than the Hoosiers’ 79-75 overtime victory on Saturday night against No. 6 Michigan State.
