Who says you can never come home? Quarterback Jack Tuttle, born in Indianapolis and the son of former IU walk-on kicker Jay Tuttle has transferred from the University of Utah to Indiana the school announced today. A four-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports coming out of high school, Tuttle was ranked the No. 4 pro-style quarterback nationally by Rivals, the No. 5 pro-style quarterback nationally by 247Sports, and the No. 13 player in California by 247Sports. With Keith Smart in the crowd, and just after the anniversary of the “Wat Shot”, Rob Phinisee etched his own name in the annals of IU basketball last second heroics. Wow. What a great college basketball game in a great environment. For the seventh time in eight appearances at the Crossroads Classic, Indiana played in a single digit game that went down to the wire. Indiana is now 5-3 in the event, tying Butler for the best mark among the four participating schools.
