Indiana basketball head coach Archie Miller met with the media after a 68-66 Indiana win over Northwestern on Saturday afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. IU players Justin Smith, Devonte Green and Romeo Langford also met with the media after the game. Indiana improved to 6-2 on the season and will travel to Penn State on Tuesday. Talk about a win that you can’t feel good about.  As the final minutes ticked off the clock, Indiana fans watched with one eye on the game, and one eye on Juwan Morgan.  The IU senior forward limped to the bench during a timeout and was attended to by trainers throughout the rest of the game.  Archie Miller indicated on his post game session with Don Fischer that he did not have any information on the injury. Big Ten play arrives for a quick two game test run on Saturday as the Northwestern Wildcats visit Bloomington. We hear Santa Barbara is nice this time of year.  Okay, it’s nice there all year, but it will be an especially nice time for the IU men’s soccer team to visit with the 2018 College Cup on the California coast next weekend. Pushed on by 5,159 fans, the 8th largest crowd in Bill Armstrong Stadium history, the Hoosiers found their edge in the second half after a sluggish start. Indiana head basketball coach Archie Miller met with the media on Friday afternoon to look back on Tuesday’s loss against Duke and preview Saturday’s Big Ten home opener against Northwestern. After having as many as eight players dealing with various injuries, Miller indicated that all but two players are back to full go at practice and expected to play without restrictions on Saturday.  Race Thompson and Jerome Hunter continue to be on an “indefinite” timetable.
