Some how, some way, Indiana found themselves with the ball down three with a chance to tie. Devonte Green missed a 55 footer off the back of the rim as time expired. The shot was close, but ultimately not close enough. That’s a familiar story for the 2017-18 Indiana Hoosiers. Three games on their home floor against top 5 competition, all three were tight wire to wire, and in all three Indiana comes up short. As is almost always the case when Indiana has faced Michigan State under Tom Izzo, Saturday night’s contest against the Spartans is a big challenge for IU. That is especially true this year, as the Hoosiers are in the midst of a 3 game losing streak and lost to Michigan State 85-57 only two weeks ago. Indiana basketball 2018 recruiting target Romeo Langford had a Thursday night game on the road against Jennings County. The Bulldogs were dominant, winning the game 102-52. Langford was dominant as well in the win, scoring a career high 63 points to lead the way. New Albany is rolling, improving to 16-1, on the season. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 3 in Class 4A, and have now won 13 straight games.
