With the college football season over and the NFL season down to the final four, for many the focus is beginning to shift to next season, including the NFL draft. Over the past two days ESPN’s Mel Kiper, Jr. and USA Today’s Draft Wire have released mock drafts and positional rankings. Their evaluations contain good news for several former Indiana stars. It should be noted that it is still very early in the process. While the deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft has passed, NFL teams still need to get through the free agency process before they can fully contemplate…

Robert Johnson has been a key contributor to the Indiana basketball program since the day he stepped on campus back in 2014. Four weeks ago, fresh off a home loss to Fort Wayne, we suggested that this Indiana team was missing an identity. The talent was there, as could be seen only a game earlier when Indiana thrilled Hoosier Nation with a come from behind victory over Notre Dame. But overall, the Hoosiers had been mostly soft on defense and rebounding, turnover prone, and wildly inconsistent shooting the ball. Over the past three games Indiana has been aggressive on defense and rebounding the ball, and they’ve limited turnovers. …
