Luka Garza had a chance to play every home game at Indiana. Then IU head coach Tom Crean offered him a scholarship in 2016. Instead the Washington D.C. area product chose to play for Iowa, and he put together a masterful college career with the Hawkeyes, earning the Big Ten’s Player of the Year award back-to-back in 2020 and 2021. Still, Garza took note every time he came to Bloomington.
