The Indiana passing game shined bright in their first win of the 2023 campaign, but it did not come without sacrifice. Wide receivers E.J. Williams and Cam Camper both came out of the game after suffering injuries in the first half. Williams came out towards the end of the first quarter holding his wrist as he walked off. Later, he would be seen in street clothes and his right hand wrapped on the Indiana sideline for the remainder of the game. Camper remained dressed for the duration of the game. After tearing his ACL in Week 8 against Rutgers, many were skeptical whether Indiana wide receiver Cam Camper would be ready Week 1 the next season. Fast forward 10 months, Camper says he feels ready to handle the task of facing Big Ten powerhouse Ohio State to open up the 2023 season, even if he is still in recovery mode. “I feel confident,” Camper said Monday. “I’m ready to just go out there and play with my group of guys. IU baseball held their own, but it wasn’t enough to top No.1 seeded Kentucky in the NCAA Lexington Regional on Monday evening. After starting off the weekend undefeated, the Hoosiers will miss out on their first NCAA Super Regional appearance in a decade with their loss to the regional hosts, 4-2. After a disappointing 10-run loss the night before, the Hoosiers were eager to regain confidence offensively. IU baseball suffered their first setback at the Lexington NCAA Regional on Sunday evening at Kentucky Proud Park. After finding victory earlier today versus West Virginia, Kentucky knocked off Indiana 16-6 in the second meeting between the two teams this weekend. They’ll now meet again on Monday in a winner-take-all Regional final. Kentucky proved themselves worthy of the No. 1 seed tonight, tallying 16 runs off of 14 hits. When your best starter is feeling pain early on in your first game of the NCAA Baseball Regional round, it’s usually a hard hole to dig yourself out of. But Indiana persevered. Behind a great offensive showing and some help from their bullpen, IU took their first NCAA Regional game with a 12-6 win over West Virginia at Kentucky Proud Park in Lexington, Ky. After Iowa sent them to the elimination bracket, the Indiana baseball squad was determined to bounce back. But with a pitching staff that would give up 18 hits in Friday’s elimination game versus Michigan, the Hoosiers faced an insurmountable climb. After a good couple of innings from Indiana lefty Ty Bothwell, Michigan began their offensive onslaught with three runs in the 3rd. The Hoosiers then turned to freshman Brayden Risedorph, who struggled on the mound to increase the Michigan lead to 6-0 by the end of the 4th. Indiana and Jeff Mercer’s squad will move on as they took down Illinois in the first round of the double elimination Big Ten Tournament. The #2 seed Hoosiers topped the #7 seed Fighting Illini on Tuesday in Omaha, Neb. by a score of 4-3. However, it did not come without a little adversity from the opposing Illinois squad. Illinois scored first with an RBI double from 3rd baseman Brandon Comia in the top of 5th, which would put the Illini up 1-0 after a pitching battle between the Illinois starter Jack Wenninger and Indiana’s own Ethan Phillips and Ben Seiler.…

The IU football program hosted a Spring Football Saturday in Bloomington.  After a scrimmage the fans came down to the field at Memorial Stadium to meet the players.
