Bill Mallory was the head coach at Indiana from 1984 to 1996, and he is the all-time winningest coach in program history. Under his direction, the Hoosiers had some of their more memorable seasons. The Indiana men’s soccer program kicked off preparation for its 50th varsity season Wednesday morning with its first training session of the fall. The preseason started by naming a new captain, as head coach Todd Yeagley gave the armband to redshirt senior defender Daniel Munie Tuesday evening. Last season, Munie was an All-American, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and ranked No. 13 on Top Drawer Soccer’s Postseason Top 100 list.
