Listen as IU basketball legend Calbert Cheaney joined the 1 Star Recruits podcast this week. Cheaney’s 2,613 career points from 1989-93 still stand as the most in IU and Big Ten history. The three-time All-American led the Hoosiers to 105 wins during his four seasons on campus, including four NCAA Tournament appearances, two Big Ten titles and a run to the 1992 Final Four. The Big Ten Network is releasing condensed 10 to 15 minute cuts of Big Ten basketball games from the 2021-22 season. Next up was a record breaking night. Trayce Jackson-Davis scored a career high and Assembly Hall record 43 points on 18-of-24 shooting. Steve Alford had the previous record.
