Indiana’s 6-0 start has head coach Curt Cignetti under consideration for one of college football’s top coaching honors. Cignetti is one of twenty-seven college football coaches who make up the American Heart Association’s 2024 Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year Award watch list, a list of current coaches in consideration for the annual top honor. Nebraska football head coach Matt Rhule met with the media last week. Like Indiana, the Cornhuskers were on a bye week ahead of next Saturday’s showdown in Bloomington. Rhule was asked about his early impression of Indiana. Here’s what the second-year Nebraska head coach said about the Hoosiers. The 2024-25 men’s and women’s basketball seasons officially kick off with Hoosier Hysteria at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 18, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. ET with free admission. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to Hoosier Hills Food Bank. This is traditionally one of the organization’s most successful donation events of the year, bringing in as much as 12,000 pounds of food to support those in need in Monroe, Brown, Lawrence, Orange, Owen, and Martin counties. The event will begin with the Homecoming Parade at 5:30 p.m.…
