Maryland has had their way against Indiana lately. Dating back to the 2021 season, the Terps have won three straight against the Hoosiers (two in College Park and one in Bloomington). Watch as IU basketball sophomore guard Kanaan Carlyle met with the media at the program’s in-house media day. An All-Pac-12 Freshman Team performer, Carlyle joined Indiana after one season at Stanford. The 6-3 guard averaged 11.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game and shot 32.0% (32-of-100) from the 3-point line during his lone season with the Cardinal. The Atlanta native scored double figures in 15 games of his 23 games played and reached 20-plus points in three outings. Tune in as IU basketball recruiting coordinator Jordan Hulls sat down with former player Miller Kopp in the latest episode of the Player’s Perspective, a podcast by Hoosiers Connect. A Bloomington native and 2013 Big Ten champion, Jordan Hulls was named the Team and Recruiting Coordinator on May 9, 2022. He begins his third season in the role. As is the case each season, the Big Ten is rolling out kick times and television designations a couple weeks ahead of each game. On Monday the league announced Indiana’s week six game (Saturday, Oct. 5) at Northwestern will be a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff that will air on the Big Ten Network. The game will be played at Northwestern’s modified soccer and lacrosse stadium along the shore of Lake Michigan.  The school demolished the old Ryan Field and is in the process of constructing a new stadium in the former location. Watch below a selection of highlight reels of class of 2025 forward Trent Sisley. The 6-foot-7 Sisley announced his commitment to Indiana on Monday afternoon. Below are highlights from his summer with Indiana Elite on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, his spring with Indiana Elite, and his 2023-24 junior season at Heritage Hills H.S. On the Adidas Circuit this summer, Sisley averaged 13.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists. He shot 58.9% from the field overall, including 42.9% from three. As a junior at Heritage Hills, Sisley averaged 24 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.9 steals per game…

Watch as IU basketball senior center Oumar Ballo met with the media at the program’s in-house media day. The 7-0, 260-pound center averaged 11.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game in three seasons at Arizona. He shot 64.6% (466-of-721) from the floor and posted 34 double-doubles, third most in Arizona basketball history. He was one of 10 players in program history to accumulate at least 1,000 career points and 800 career rebounds.
