Listen as IU basketball sophomore guard Gabe Cupps joined former Hoosier Miller Kopp on the Player’s Perspective Podcast. Cupps reflects on his childhood as the son of a coach, his work ethic, offseason workouts, and freshman season at Indiana. At Centerville High School, Cupps played for his father Brook.  Together they won the state title in 2021, and Cupps won Ohio Mr. Basketball in 2022. At IU, the 6-foot-2 Cupps averaged 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 steals in 21.7 minutes per game as a true freshman in 2023-24. Watch as men’s IU basketball player Gabe Cupps and women’s player Sydney Parrish met with local media over the weekend at a meet-and-greet event with fans in Fort Wayne. A native of Ohio, Cupps made 22 starts in 33 appearances as a freshman and averaged 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 steals in 21.7 minutes per game. A product of Fishers, Ind., Parrish played in 25 games, starting in 24 in 2023-24.  She averaged 10.8 points, 6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.  Parrish shot 45.3 percent from the floor, 40 percent from the 3-point line and 79.2.…

Watch below as IU football offensive coordinator Mike Shanahan and defensive coordinator Bryant Haines met with the media on Friday in Bloomington. Both coaches followed head coach Curt Cignetti from James Madison during the offseason. Shanahan has been with Cignetti since 2016 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Listen in as IU football wideout Donaven McCulley joined The Ride with JMV this week to discuss his upcoming season with IU football. The 6-foot-5 senior was honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2023.  He caught a team-best 48 passes for 644 yards. His six touchdown grabs were the most on the team as well. IU women’s basketball has announced its nonconference schedule for the 2024-25 season. The 11-game slate includes seven home dates and a trip to the Battle 4 Atlantis in November.  The Hoosiers will also make a trip up to Indianapolis for an away game. Head coach Teri Moren returns nine players from last year’s team including three starters — point guard Chloe Moore-McNeil, and wings Sydney Parrish and Yarden Garzon.  IU also welcomes two transfers and two true freshmen to the 2024-25 squad.
