The first sign that we’ve turned the page to a new season of IU basketball arrived on Tuesday. As is tradition, the players for this season’s team arrived on campus over the last week, and they began summer workouts with the staff this week. The program released the below photos of the team on its social media accounts. Most of the team is participating in workouts right now.  Trey Galloway is still rehabbing from offseason knee surgery. Indiana is planning many changes to the football gameday experience for this fall. Among them is an expansion of the premium suite opportunities in Memorial Stadium for Hoosier fans during the 2024 season, the athletic department announced on Tuesday morning. For the second straight year, Memorial Stadium will feature nine field level suites on the stadium’s south end behind the end zone. IU says due to the popularity of those premium spaces last fall, they are adding eight more suites to Sample Terrace, located on the stadium’s south end and overlooking the south end zone. Listen as IU basketball assistant coach Brian Walsh joined the Rising Coaches podcast to discuss his young basketball career and time at Indiana.  The podcast was recorded at the Final Four in Phoenix. Walsh came to IU with Archie Miller in 2017 and was retained by Mike Woodson in 2021. The Pittsburgh product discusses his rise from being a graduate assistant to assistant coach.  Walsh also discusses the traits of Miller and Woodson that stand out to him most. Brown averaged 22.1 points and shot 41 percent from three while dishing out 3.8 assists per game for Team Loaded on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring.  He’s wearing jersey zero in the highlights. Watch below spring AAU highlights of class of 2025 in-state forward Trent Sisley. From Santa Claus, Ind., Sisley averaged 13.8 ppg to go with 6.6 rpg in 13 Adidas 3SSB contests this spring.  He shot 56% from the field overall, and 44% from long range. Sisley is a 4-star recruiting prospect, and the No. 76 overall player in the 2025 class according to the On3 Industry Average. Watch as IU baseball coach Jeff Mercer joined Rick Pizzo of the Big Ten Network to review Indiana’s season and preview the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
