Purdue fans having been saying it for years. New IU football coach Curt Cignetti had a response on his first day on the job. Cignetti was introduced to the crowd at the IU men’s basketball game against Maryland on Friday evening in Bloomington. He made a few remarks to the crowd, including this, which fired up the crowd and made waves across social media: “I’ve never taken a back seat to anybody and don’t plan on starting now,” Cignetti said. “Purdue sucks, but so does Michigan and Ohio State!
