Watch as new IU football offensive coordinator Mike Shanahan joined radio color commentator Rhett Lewis to discuss his early days in Bloomington. In addition to his offensive coordinator/play-calling duties, Shanahan is the wide receivers coach at IU. Shanahan has been with head coach Curt Cignetti since 2016. The 2023 James Madison offense led the Sun Belt in offensive efficiency through the regular season and finished No. 29 in the FBS in total offense (430.2 ypg). Haines was named defensive coordinator/linebackers coach by Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti on December 13, 2023, for his second stint in Bloomington.
