When Bob Knight passed away on Wednesday, the IU basketball program was back in the hands of people he cared about and trusted. One beloved former player, Mike Woodson, is of course the head coach, and another, Quinn Buckner, resides as the Chair of the IU Board of Trustees. And former Knight lead team manager Scott Dolson is the IU Director of Athletics. Trayce Jackson-Davis led Indiana in assists as a senior in 2022-23. Now a pro, he’s still delivering on target dimes for the Hoosiers. And the IU basketball social media team wasted no time capitalizing on a perfectly delivered pass from TJD. In his second NBA appearance for the Golden State Warriors on Monday, Jackson-Davis scored 13 points and added nine rebounds and four blocks in just 19:50 of game action. Indiana men’s soccer (9-4-4, 4-2-2 B1G) won a share of the Big Ten regular season championship and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament after a 4-1 win over Rutgers on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium. The conference title is IU’s 33rd overall and its 18th regular season championship. It’s also Indiana’s fifth regular season title under head coach Todd Yeagley and ninth overall league title in his 14 seasons.
