Indiana won its first Big Ten women’s swim and dive crown in five years in dramatic fashion. The Hoosiers outscored four-time defending champion Ohio State by a half point Saturday evening to secure the title.  It was the closest Big Ten women’s swim and dive competition in history. Northwestern’s hunt for home fields in 2024 is expected to lead Indiana to an unusual destination: SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill. The Northwestern Rivals site is reporting IU’s Oct. 5 game at Northwestern this fall will be played at the soccer-specific stadium in the Chicago suburbs. SeatGeek Stadium is located about twelve miles southwest of downtown Chicago. It is the home stadium of the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League, Chicago Fire FC II of the MLS Next Pro, and the Chicago Hounds of the Major League Rugby. The Indiana men’s basketball team will wear alternate uniforms on Sunday when they host Northwestern at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The all black uniforms are part of a collaboration with adidas and Fear of God, an influential American luxury brand founded by Jerry Lorenzo in 2011. Indiana will also wear special shoes and warmups. The first 100 students at the game will be gifted an exclusive Fear of God Athletics tee, commemorating the occasion.  Exclusive Indiana T-shirts and hoodies will be available for purchase at the Fear of God website.
