UPDATE:  Jackson-Davis will not play on Friday evening due to his hamstring injury. Former Hoosiers are expected to go head-to-head in the NBA Summer League on Friday evening in Las Vegas when the Los Angeles Lakers face the Golden State Warriors. After losing both of their contests in the California Classic, the Lakers will go to Las Vegas from Sacramento for the main summer league. Watch as 2 News WDTN profiled the legacy of IU freshman Gabe Cupps. The 2022 Ohio Mr. Basketball and 2021 state champion played for his father at Centerville H.S. just outside of Dayton, Ohio. As a senior at Centerville, Cupps averaged 15.4 points, 6.2 assists, 1.9 turnovers, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.  He shot 49.5 percent overall, 39.5 percent from three (on 119 attempts), and 91.6 percent from the free throw line.
