As many IU fans know by now, the young prince of the WWE wrestling empire resides in Bloomington. Indiana walk-on running back Declan McMahon joined the Hoosiers prior to the 2022 season. He is the grandson of WWE founder Vince McMahon, and the son of wrestler and executive of Shane McMahon. Inspired by the WWE, the Hoosiers adopted a takeaway belt this season, and it makes an appearance on the IU sideline each time the defense generates a turnover. As part of a tradition that goes back 40 years, IU basketball fans can now pick up a collector’s item favorite for the 2023-24 season. The “floating heads” schedule posters are now available. Similar to the last couple years, the posters are being sold since they feature the image of the players. The 18″ x 24″ posters will be available for purchase at the Indiana Team Store’s on-line and retail locations.
