Watch below the sophomore season highlights of in-state 5-star guard Jalen Haralson. The 6-foot-6 Haralson made multiple visits to Bloomington during the 2022-23 season and is one of the program’s priority targets. Playing for Fishers H.S. in the Indianapolis suburbs, Haralson averaged 23.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game against some of the toughest competition in the state.  His shooting splits were 53 percent overall, 26 percent from three (on 43 attempts), and 70 percent from the free throw line. Listen as former IU basketball player Derek Elston joined D.J. Unique on the Beyond BTown podcast. Elston revisits his upbringing in Tipton, Ind., his time at IU, and what he’s up to now. Elston played four years for the Hoosiers (09-13) and was a member of the 2013 Big Ten Championship squad and 2012 Sweet Sixteen team. He battled injuries throughout his career and scored 498 points and shot 37.5 percent from three-point range, including 55.2% from long distance as a junior. Watch as Miller Kopp joined former IU players Christian Watford and Derek Elston on the Ball from Assembly Hall podcast to recap his college basketball career. Kopp joined the Indiana program prior to the 2021-22 season following three years at Northwestern.  He discussed details from his time at both schools at length and provided entertaining insights. Indiana forward Miller Kopp became the all-time leader in Big Ten games played during the 2022-23 season. And with all of that experience came a wealth of knowledge according to the Houston, Texas product. On his Twitter page, Kopp posted 100 things he learned over the course of his five year college career that included three years at Northwestern and two at Indiana.
