There was a heavy IU basketball flavor at the sultry Saturday afternoon kickoff of the 2023 IU football season. Program alumni Jalen Hood-Schifino, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Race Thompson, Nate Childress, Romeo Langford, Rob Phinisee and Devonte Green were all there. Jackson-Davis was watching his brother Tayven make his debut as IU quarterback. They even shot some t-shirts into the crowd and were introduced to the fans.
