Jaylin Lucas is only 5-foot-9, and 170 pounds. And he doesn’t turn 19 until September. But the young man is carrying most of the weight of whatever optimism IU fans have going into the 2023 season on his shoulders. IU basketball one-and-done star Jalen Hood-Schifino will be back in Bloomington in a couple weeks to host a basketball camp. The youth basketball camp for ages 6-16 will be at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center on Sept. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Later that same day IU football will host Ohio State in their 2023 season opener.
