Galloway discusses the improvement in his perimeter shot, his role on the 2023-24 team, and much more. As a junior the 6-foot-4 Galloway started a career-high 25 games in 32 appearances for IU in 2023-24. He played 27.5 minutes per contest. For the third straight season, the Indiana baseball program heard at least one of its student-athletes names called within the first 10 rounds of the draft. Senior Phillip Glasser and redshirt senior Craig Yoho were each selected in the 2023 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft on Monday (July 10). With the two selections, Indiana has had 105 Hoosiers drafted all-time for a total of 116 total draft picks. UPDATE:  Jackson-Davis will not play on Friday evening due to his hamstring injury. Former Hoosiers are expected to go head-to-head in the NBA Summer League on Friday evening in Las Vegas when the Los Angeles Lakers face the Golden State Warriors. After losing both of their contests in the California Classic, the Lakers will go to Las Vegas from Sacramento for the main summer league. Watch as 2 News WDTN profiled the legacy of IU freshman Gabe Cupps. The 2022 Ohio Mr. Basketball and 2021 state champion played for his father at Centerville H.S. just outside of Dayton, Ohio. As a senior at Centerville, Cupps averaged 15.4 points, 6.2 assists, 1.9 turnovers, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.  He shot 49.5 percent overall, 39.5 percent from three (on 119 attempts), and 91.6 percent from the free throw line.
