The Big Ten is searching for its seventh Commissioner after the Chicago Bears announced on Thursday Kevin Warren will become their next CEO and President. Warren had been with the Big Ten since June 2019 but recently was not given a contract extension by the league according to a report by ESPN’s Pete Thamel. The Big Ten acknowledged Warren’s key accomplishments in a statement. “Commissioner Warren was pivotal in the expansion from 14-to-16 academic and athletic member institutions and leading the media rights negotiations for the conference,” the conference said in a release. “He has been dedicated to building inclusion…

The two official NIL collectives of IU Athletics, Hoosiers For Good and Hoosiers Connect, jointly announced today that they easily exceeded the previously announced goal of raising $1 million in donations, sponsorships, and memberships between Nov. 14-Dec. 31, 2022. IU Athletics announced the news in a release. By reaching that goal, the two NIL Collectives have secured an additional $1 million matching contribution from an anonymous donor. The 6-foot-5 Passmore is currently a 4-star prospect, the No. 51 overall player in the 2024 class, and the No. 12 shooting guard according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
