IU football coach Tom Allen released a brief comment Monday on the hiring of new offensive line coach Bob Bostad. In the release, Indiana also confirmed former interim offensive line coach Rod Carey will remain with the program and his alma mater.  Carey will return to the same quality control position he held prior to stepping into the offensive line role midseason when Allen fired Darren Hiller. It is going to be another wild offseason across college football. Indiana freshman Jaylin Lucas was a headliner for the Hoosiers as the 2022 season progressed, and that continued into the postseason.   Lucas was named the Big Ten’s returner of the year on Tuesday by the conference. Four defenders and two more from IU’s special teams units received honorable mention from the league.
