According to the 247Sports Composite, the 6-foot-9 Evans is a 5-star prospect ranked No. 3 nationally in the class of 2023. Former IU star Brian Evans joined The Ride with JMV to discuss the return of Trayce Jackson-Davis, NIL, the state of the IU basketball, and much more. The native of Terre Haute, Ind., earned letters in men’s basketball from 1993-96 and is one of only 12 Hoosiers to win Big Ten Most Valuable Player honors in men’s basketball. Below are more than 10 minutes of highlights from the senior season of incoming Indiana freshman point guard Jalen Hood-Schifino. Hood-Schifino was a consensus top-25 prospect by the four major national recruiting sites. The 6-foot-5 native of Pittsburgh is the highest rated incoming recruit in the Big Ten, and led his Montverde (Fla.) The NBA announced on Tuesday the 76 draft prospects who accepted invites to the NBA Draft Combine, which will take place May 18-20 in Chicago. As previously reported, Indiana forward Trayce Jackson-Davis is one of the invites, along with 13 other players from the Big Ten Conference.  Two from the league have declined the chance to participate. Jordan Hulls will be back at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall soon as part of the Indiana program.  As reported on Monday, he is taking the reins as the team and recruitment coordinator. The last time he was in the building in a public capacity as part of IU was on his Senior Night, March 5, 2013. The Big Ten Network is releasing condensed 8-12 minute cuts of Big Ten basketball games from the 2021-22 season. Next up is Indiana’s game two win over Northern Illinois on Nov. 12.  In this edition, legendary radio voice Don Fischer’s call is played along with the game footage.
